Le JACL est-il deprecated ?
Voici les informations contenues dans l'infocenter WebSphere Application Server v6.1
Deprecation of the Jacl syntax in the wsadmin tool
Deprecation of a product feature does not mean that the feature is removed from the product immediately. Deprecation is a process of announcing the intent to remove the feature at some future time. The WebSphere Application Server deprecation procedure calls for a feature to remain in the product for two full release cycles before the feature can be removed. For more information about deprecation of features, see the Deprecated and removed features article.
infocentre v7 :
Jacl is an alternate implementation of TCL, and is written entirely in Java™ code.
The wsadmin tool uses Jacl V1.3.2.
Stabilization of the Jacl syntax in the wsadmin tool
The Jacl language has been stabilized in Version 7 of the product. IBM® does not currently plan to deprecate or remove this capability in a subsequent release of the product; but future investment will be focused on the Jython language, which is the strategic alternative. You do not need to change any of your existing applications and scripts that use Jacl; but you should consider using the strategic alternative for new applications.
